Well Met Auto Care Earns a Perfect 10 and the 2026 Mobile Detailing Title

Fifteen years in, the Etobicoke mobile shop takes the Torbrook Rating Agency’s highest possible score on the strength of owner Martin’s two decades of hands-on experience, a service list most drivers would otherwise have to split across four businesses, and a habit of explaining a repair rather than simply announcing it.

Well Met Auto Care has been awarded a rating of 10 out of 10 by the Torbrook Rating Agency, TNN’s business review desk — the highest score the agency issues — and has been named Best Mobile Detailing Company for 2026 following an in-person evaluation of the business, its owner and the way it works with clients.

The company is owned and operated by Martin, who has spent more than 20 years in the automotive field and has run Well Met Auto Care for the last 15. Born and raised in Etobicoke, he has worked on close to everything that moves under its own power: motorcycles at one end of the scale, Freightliner and Volvo highway trucks at the other. That range is uncommon in a trade where most technicians specialize early and stay there, and it shows in how quickly he reads a vehicle he has never seen before.

Well Met Auto Care is a mobile operation, and that is central to the case for the award. Rather than asking a customer to arrange a tow or surrender a day to a waiting room, Martin brings the work to the driveway. The company performs mobile mechanical repairs and mobile detailing, and also handles window tinting and audio, sound and video installation — a service list that covers most of what a vehicle owner would otherwise have to divide among three or four separate businesses.

The detailing side is what carries the category title. The finish work is consistent, it is delivered on site, and it is done to the same standard whether the vehicle is a daily driver or something the owner is careful about. Doing that in a customer’s driveway, without a shop bay’s lighting, drainage and equipment on hand, is harder than doing it indoors, and it is the reason the 2026 mobile detailing award goes to Well Met.

Across our visit, Martin was patient and informative, walking the team through how he runs the business day to day and answering every question put to him without rushing or deflecting. He describes honest business as the point of the operation rather than a selling line, and the way he talks about the work supports that: the goal is a client who is satisfied at the end of the job and knows exactly what was done and why.

That approach is most visible in how he handles a diagnosis. Martin does not simply tell a client what is wrong with their vehicle — he helps them understand it: what failed, what caused it, what the options are and what happens if it waits. Clients who are curious about their cars find him happy to explain as far as they want to go, and clients who are not still leave knowing what they paid for.

The clients we spoke to were unqualified in their praise. The words that came back repeatedly, without prompting, were reliable and honest — the two things hardest to verify in the automotive trade and the two that matter most to somebody handing over their keys.

A perfect score is not given lightly, and it is not given for scale. Well Met Auto Care earns it on execution: 15 years of steady work, an owner whose experience covers the full weight range of the road, a genuine breadth of service delivered where the customer actually is, and a standard of honesty that its own clients volunteer before they are asked. It is the benchmark the Torbrook Rating Agency will be measuring this category against.
